		<description>Interesting.  I didn&#039;t even know &quot;Lincoln Heights&quot; was still on.  I barely made it through the first episode.  Seemed like more of the &quot;same ole, same ole&quot; to me.  

I&#039;m not sure BET has an interest in anything beyond music, sports and  buffonery (College Hill and the like).  BETJ does a little better.  At least they feature BETJ Shorts--a format for Black independent filmmakers and their movies.

I&#039;m not sure if we&#039;ll ever see another series like &quot;Soul Food.&quot; (the only reason I ever subscribed to Show Time)  If so, it will surely be on cable.  

From the looks of things, the average viewer isn&#039;t terribly interested in the lives of middle-class Black folks.  I guess unless we&#039;re making folks laugh, singing/rapping &amp; dancing or carrying, throwing or hitting a ball our experiences lack that &quot;universal&quot; quality . . . yeah, right (LOL).</description>
